Overview

The Schedule page controls automatic exports for your store. Pick how often backups run, what time of day they start, and which timezone to use. You can enable the schedule, pause it, or run a one-off backup immediately without waiting for the next slot.

Configure schedule

In the main configuration card, set:

  • Backup frequency - Daily, Weekly, or Monthly (example in the app: Weekly).
  • Backup time - when the job should start (for example 12:00 AM midnight).
  • Timezone - store-local time for the schedule (for example GMT+05:30 Asia/Kolkata).

Real-time backup (beta) is an optional checkbox. When enabled, the app can capture store changes as they happen in addition to scheduled runs. This feature may still be in beta depending on your app version.

Status

The Status card on the right shows whether automatic backups are on or off.

  • Paused - schedule is disabled; the card shows "Automatic backups off" and a Resume button.
  • When active, the badge and message reflect that backups will run on your configured schedule.

Enable and run backup

Two actions sit below the schedule settings:

  • Enable schedule - turns on automatic backups with your current frequency, time, and timezone.
  • Run backup now - starts an export immediately without changing the schedule (useful for an on-demand snapshot).
  1. Set frequency, time, and timezone.
  2. Optionally enable Real-time backup (beta).
  3. Click Enable schedule (or Resume if paused).
  4. Use Run backup now whenever you need an extra export outside the schedule.

Feature highlights

The row below the main cards summarizes what scheduled backups provide:

Daily backups

Encrypted

Easy restore

Pick a backup and restore.

Cloud storage

Upcoming backups

The Upcoming section at the bottom lists the next planned backup runs. When no schedule is enabled, it shows:

"No upcoming backups scheduled. Enable a schedule above to see upcoming runs here."

After you enable a schedule, upcoming dates and times appear so you know when the next automatic export will run. Completed scheduled jobs also appear in export/backup history elsewhere in the app.
